Stroke Rehab Specialist Services
Location: Town - North Island
Contract length: Fixed term contract
Experience required: 4 years
The Stroke Services are combining and moving to a single ward with a mix of acute and rehab beds. This is the first step towards a purpose built unit.

This senior position will lead a small team of 2 Physio’s and up to 3 Assistants, You will be involved in inpatient assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for stroke patients. There may be other neurological rehabilitation cases included at times. The service operates 7 days and you will be participating in a seven-day roster, which will include weekend work.

Senior Level Physiotherapist

Senior Physio looking for your next challenge? We are looking for a practitioner with good skills, a wide base of knowledge and the ability to integrate their wide range of skills within their practise.
You will have a good understanding of the areas of sports rehabilitation, a variety of manual therapy methods, muscle balance and kinetic chain approaches to rehabilitation. You will enjoy nurturing and educating junior staff by sharing your skills. Ideally you have 2 - 3 years experience preferably in sports therapy.
